Moving on, I see that Meursault does not care about strangers either, he notices their physical characteristics but expresses no judgement towards them, this also happens with people he actually knows like with his neighbor Raymond, since Meursault does not condone him for beating his mistress and is okay with being part of his scheme.

Speaking of Raymond, I think he acts as an opposite of Meursault, where Meursault is clearly aloof and indifferent, Raymond is loud and intense. Meursault makes no moral distinctions while Raymond is clearly immoral and finally, Raymond uses sex as a tool for revenge and humiliation whereas Meursault uses it as a source for his own pleasure.
